The work of the artist Lucia Loren is born from the relation of the exchange of the human being with the environment ant the landscape. This connection with the landscape has inspired different installations in different natural environments.
In all her interventions she uses elements from the landscape to make small variations that reflect on the own concept of the cultural landscape. On many occasions the work process becomes into a space open to the participation of the community that inhabits in the place, generating an exchange of knowledge and experience between the artistic process and the rural population.
In this line we offer a workshop with the artist Lucia Loren. The game, the construction and the use of simple materials will be the keys in this workshop in which we will create dreamy sculptures that will be the product of the creativity of six families that from their primary elements, collected from the walks through la sierra or a near park, they will create a collective piece that will be exhibited at the end of the workshop and will symbolize a new space to inhabit in ICO museum.
As in the rest of the workshops we will use the Empower Parents methodology to create a learning environment that guarantees the creative and autonomous work of the participants and their families.
The workshop will take place on Saturdays from 11:00 to 12:12:30 at ICO Museum, from October 2018 to January 2019.
